which is just fantastically disturbing, in a "Company of Wolves" way. Not to be watched when alone at night...

I've not read Lolita - and the only film version I've seen is the bowlderised Kubrick one. But from my understanding the issues it raises are covered from a different angle in Venus, which was a marvellous character piece.
