A small victory

I emailed Eric Lippert, one of the people who works on the C# compiler at MS, and asked him for an explanation of the problem I had yesterday, and he was reasonable, helpful and agreed that my solution was better than the one in the spec.

And we also agreed that now it was in the spec it wasn't going anywhere.

Oh well - still nice to have the conversation :->
