Only reasons I know people to go to Warrington is IKEA & Marks & Spencers. There may be other reasons but I haven't found them yet.

we used to go bowling in Warrington when I worked for BR in Crewe. SOme freaky railway-owned l;and comapny discount. We used to drink is a scruffy pub that had an ancient (vinyl singles) jukebox that gave you 12 for a quid and only had old 70's rock. At least until it burnt down (as a number of my ex-drinking haunts seem to)... ah.. them were the days...
