The problem with youth is that everyone expects to be recognised for their unique fantasticness, without doing any of the hard work.

The problem with maturity is that you realise that the only person who is going to be responsible for you... is you. This then means you realise you have to put a hell of a lot more hard work in to make it all work. Oh, and you also realise that maybe you are going to live past 25 and therefore out to actually plan out some method of surviving to old age in comfort.

Ah yes, 25. I remember that year. The year I realized that the career I had been falling into would be a horrible match for me -- but still a year before I figured out that I wouldn't be stuck with one career for the rest of my life.

Now, if I can just keep in mind that my life now is not permanent either, I'll be ready to hit thirty.
