If Tony Blair lasts out the next couple of months without a challenge from someone I'll be extremely surprised.

If Mr Blair does not bow to the pressure backbench MPs intend to publish a letter, possibly by the end of next week, with as many as 75 signatures calling on him to agree the transition or face a formal challenge.
So - any bets on how much longer he lasts?

That, I would think, is their problem.
Generally speaking I find that writing for an audience, rather than for oneself, is a terrible idea.

If they want to write their own poll then that's up to them - but I wouldn't tell them how to write it any more than I'd tell them what colour scheme to use on their journal (or what to write in it).
